"Pseudo-MPEC" for Change5

Don't take either orbit or ephemerides too seriously. We're trying to beat radiotelescope RA/dec pointings into "astrometry", and the results are pretty rough. The extrapolated ephemerides are nearly meaningless; a small shift in speed would have a really outsized effect on where the object goes.
After various efforts to force a trajectory with apogee near the moon, I gave up and accepted the fact that the data showed something headed out in a near-parabolic orbit. No sooner did I do that than Scott Tilley posted a comment about the object going to the Earth-Sun L1 point, which is from this Weibo post (in Chinese).
So now we know why my ephemerides were garbage. I think things will be better now; Daniel Estévez, who reported the (ATA) data below, tells me the computed Doppler shifts are now a much better fit to what he's observed.
Unfortunately, Daniel only has time on ATA on weekends. Scott Tilley has recalibrated his antenna to get better RA/decs, so we'll get some data from him. That ought to get us some orbit improvement over the next week.
The claim is that this is going to the Earth-Sun L1 point to study the sun, but that appears to be a stretch; the object is nearly 50 degrees from the sun. So it'll be in the rough ballpark of the Earth-Sun L1 point, and can hang out there for a while before it slides off to someplace else. With over 100 kg of propellant, their choices for visiting NEOs are greater than I had expected (I'd assumed the tanks were really close to empty).
