"Pseudo-MPEC" for 1983-020D = NORAD 20413 = ASTRON booster

This is the booster for the ASTRON magnetospheric satellite, which has also been well tracked by astrometry and which is in a very similar orbit.
TLEs (Two-Line Elements) are available for this and various other artsats.Click here for a plot of the evolution of the orbit of this object. As has happened with other objects in a similar orbit, there are swings with a period of a few years, plus a long-term trend which will eventually bring the object back into our atmosphere sometime in 2028, probably around May (and ASTRON will re-enter at roughly the same time).
