Now I found that ngc.not file but that file to open it only puts data like this and do not know if this is normal;

J2000), magnitude 18.3.

As devo to put a note of observation of a particular obgeto in that file and then look at the information from that object, eg NGC 457.

Whereas in my installation, it is in the 'text' folder. C:\Guide9\text\ngc.not, and comments from it are displayed just fine, indicating that perhaps Guide isn't too concerned where this file lives?

Ngc.not is in the top-level Guide folder, usually c:\Guide9.

Mine is at C:\guide9\ngc.not
