Hi Pete....can you not simply copy and paste the old file from the previous Guide version into your new Guide folder?
I would think that with everything else in place, the database would be intact.  There is a folder "Quasars" in the Guide folder when installed in its entirety....only about 4.12 megs.

Just about all datasets have been transferred from my Guide 9 DVD onto the hard drive.  But the only way to access the quasar user dataset is by inserting the Guide 9 DVD.  Didn't have this problem way back when using Guide 8.  What'd I fail to do here?
