I have written my own code for my scope, dome and CCD. I suppose that
via the network I can touch the slew.dat file to see if it has changed
or outright erase it after reading it and look for it to reappear
for a slew command? Is there any handshaking (as with the LX200 which I
am using at the moment) with the slew.dat file?

So, slew.dat is the guide file to slew the telescope, and slew_out.dat
is the telescope position for guide to slew to? I'm sure I got it wrong!
