Both of your reports lead me to believe something else is amiss in either the install or another, related configuration setting. Problem is, I’m not smart enough to figure out what’s not right. When discovered, it will be a “duh” moment, I’m sure. Thanks for taking a look at your system to check.

That is the sequence I’ve used--with no luck. The clusters don’t appear on the chart. Changing levels doesn’t help, either.
By the way, I have tried with the M31 images on and off. Neither way works.

I’ve tried it myself, and it works fine. To be sure you haven’t skipped anything, in the dialog box for <M31 Globular Clusters>, do the following
click “on”, then
click “OK”.
This will take you back to the previous dialog box, then
click on “Done”.
Nothing more to do.
