Bill,
I really like the ability to
download DSS images from the net through the Realsky menu option and display
them in Guide. However, It would be nice to be able to specify a file name
and directory location to save them to. Right now when you download an
image it automatically assigns a filename and places it in the Guide 7.0
directory. The name it assigns is just an incremental number with a ".fit"
after it. It makes it guesswork as to which object it was if you go to display
it at a later date and the images eat up hard drive space. Currently I
download an image, view it, copy it to a CDRW disk, rename the copy to something
identifiable, click "Clear Realsky Images" and then physically delete the file
off my hard drive. The image is then selectable under the "Add DSS Image" menu
option. I know you are busy with Guide 8.0, but perhaps you can put this
on the list for a future upgrade. By the way, do you have a projected
release date yet for Guide 8.0?
