Here is what I wrote a while back. It is an ongoing issue that Bill has
to resolve.


Open the "comet.dat" file and delete the number if that is all that is
in the file. Save it and now downloading the update for comet will work
again. The other MPC files(critical, neo and on) do not work due to the
number of objects being greater than the file can handle and update. The
same problem exists in guide 8.

It can be done manually for MPC file.
