Here is what I do.

Set Guide time to whatever you want. Then set view to alt/az, use horizon menu or hot button to choose 'south' Meridian will then be centered for that time. zoom out for larger field of view.

Thanks Konstantin.....all I want to be able to do is, if it is 2130 hours at
my location and Vega is on my meridian, I want to set the time in Guide to
2130 and have Guide place the chart to the same sky view with Vega on the
meridian. Should be simple...maybe Bill can answer this...
