Tom, I also tried 'PATH=20' but it wouldn't work either, however changing to
'19' did. Maybe the A20, or my sA20, data cutoff is 19th mag, allowing a
few stars with 20th mag values to sneak in.

For some reason my the Star Display Mag limit was set at '16', (now changed
to 19.5), but still allowed a tiny, red displayed, star near M87, to show
even with the '16' limit:

R mag 17.5
B mag 20.1
V mag 18.5
Field 496
RA: 12h31m39.4060s DEC: +12 23' 56.910"

Playing around with Star Display I found the Mag Ranges do have an effect on
what's displayed. What works best for me is:

Mag Limit 19.5
Mag Range 19
Min Star Size 0.5
Max Star Size 30
....everything else is unchecked or '0' value.
...note:
... ...displaying different field display Levels 'changes' the Star Display
Mag Limit value.
... ...when displaying a starfield changing the "+/-" star brightness
buttons on the Menu Bar changes Mag Limit and Mag Range values in the Star
Display panel.

About my question about your receiving a msg, I wasn't clear enough. Do you
receive any message/s from, I assume Guid9, when you attempt to display A20
data. If so that might give Bill a hint.

Try setting your PATH to '19', and Star Display Mag Limit to '19-20' and
Zoom-In to a 30arc.min Level display too. G'Luck...joe :)

PS: Once you get everything working remember to save a "MASTER.mar" file.
Doing so saves all your Settings. If you change something, or use another
Mark, those Settings will be used until you, or another Mark, changes the
Settings. The simplest way of saving time to retrieve your preferred
Settings is having a Master Mark.
