My observatory monitor needs replacement. And the 4:5 aspect ratio on my old 19" Acer monitor is almost obsolete. (Or perhaps, completely obsolete?)

Even the new 22" 16:9 aspect ratios don't quite achieve the same 12" screen height. I suspect that the wide aspect ratios are for movie viewing. Anyone have a good word to say about them? Or should I run, not walk, to grab up one of the last of the 4:5 aspect ratio monitors?
