Yep.....I would simply reinstall the basic Guide and overlay your backup folders
to get you back to where you need to be.
I learned a long time ago that fretting over it takes far more time than just
biting the bullet and reinstalling.....I even carry a USB stick with me now to
the observatory that has the latest backup files just in case.

So now I still get frustrated, but I say "Dad-gum it!" a lot less than I did
without the backup files at my fingertips.
