As far as I know, you can't "alias" a COM port this way. Even if there
was some way you could, the problem would still be that ASCOM (or TheSky)
would be opening the physical piece of hardware for access and then not
releasing it for use by others. So there would be no way for two programs
to communicate with the scope at once.
