RE: [guide-user] Update to Guide 9.0 (and 8.0) posted

I must admit I find this fuss over renaming a file somewhat puzzling. If you
use Guide you must be pretty computer literate and renaming a file is not
the hardest thing one can do. Surely deleting guide8.exe and renaming
guide9.exe to guide8.exe is not that hard?

If that is so, why do we need to change the "guide8.exe" to guide9.exe"? The
upload
will likely have a "guide9.exe" file in the update, so in essence we should
ONLY need
to eliminate the old "guide8.exe" file.
