Hello,

I hoped I could find an answer to my question in the list archive.
But I found only 2 or 3 poorly related messages among more than 800.

My problem (Guide 7 ) :
Equipment : Losmandy G11 mount ( for Celestron 11 ) and Advanced AstroMaster.
Encoders seem to work OK after adjustment of the 2 ratios ( yet I never
succeeded a fairly good pointing )

I can't achieve any telescope control, whatever scope resolutions are
introduced.
Manual instructions, page 45, are fullfilled but Guide answers : '63 (?)' or
something else but never '82 (R) ' and does not add a "Scope Pad" option to
the menu.

The double cable coming from the encoders is plugged in the Astromaster's
RJ25 (?)
connection ( 6 contacts ) ; the Astromaster's second plug is linked to the
laptop by a cable RJ11 ( 4 contacts ) - serial (modem) outlet. Is that correct ?
The cable has been supplied by an official Celestron and Losmandy dealer.

I need help for the telescope control as well as for the ordinary pointing.

Has anybody succeeded in managing the same configuration ?
