Hi Roger, I should have done a search on previous discussion on WDS.. Found some msgs from couple of weeks ago.

However, this is strange.....
In my Guide 8.0, there is no .tdf file for WDS access although the dataset shows up in the 'toggle user datasets' window and I can toggle and access WDS2001 with no problem. What folder in your Guide 8.0 was the wds_new.tdf located?

The only filenames that start with WDS... in Guide 8 are the two listed below with the folders in which they reside.

Wdsred.htm BINCAT5 folder
Wds2001.dat WDS folder

In Guide 9.0, there are three WDS files and related folders but no .tdf file for WDS access.

wdsref.htm BINCAT5 folder
wdsref6.htm BINCAT6 folder
wds_crun.dat WDS folder


I've also done a full search on the DVD and found no .tdf file for WDS. There are several other wds... files on the DVD other than the three listed above that were not copied.

Hi Ben,

I had to copy over a tdf file from Guide8 to get this to work. Mine
was called wds_new.tdf but yours might just be called wds.tdf.
