Re: [guide-user] Re: CCD Frame no more visible

Hi Reinhold,

I saw the same error. I tracked it down to an error in the 'color2' line;
the color for the CCD frame includes a non-existent line style. It's very
puzzling; I've no idea how the frame color got set to that odd value.
(Since the line style didn't exist, no line at all was drawn.)

Resetting the color through Guide's CCD Frame dialog won't fix it, because
that resets the color but leaves the line style unchanged. The only fix I
could come up with was to edit your 'startup.mar' file and change '750000ff'
to '0000ff'. If you download

http://www.projectpluto.com/startup.mar

to your Guide folder, all should be well.

But I'd still like to know how this happened in the first place. If you
(or anyone) sees this misbehavior, please let me know... and if you remember
anything along the lines of "it was working fine until I did _this_", I'd
very much appreciate hearing about it. I assume there is some particular
action, or combination of actions, that leads to this bug; but at least
right now, I've no idea what it might be.

Thanks! -- Bill
