I had a similar problem just last week. Make sure the 'center frame'
checkbox in the CCD options is checked. If it is not, your CCD frame stays
wherever it was that you were looking last. When you click on a new spot to
center the screen in a different area, the frame stays at the old spot,
effectively 'dissapearing'. I ran into this while changing the color of my
CCD frame when I was setting it up on my new Guide9 install.

I use Guide8 since many years. Today I wanted to change the color of the
ccd frame. Now the frame is no more visible. It does not depend from the
color.
Show pixels works, ccd frame does not work.
Does anybody know whats going wrong?
