Hello all,
I'll reply in more detail once I've a better handle on what's
going on, but here's what I know as of now:
Looking through the control panel for the credit card solution,
I see that the "Address Verification Service", or "AVS", appears
to default to a very paranoid mode. A couple of settings were
checked that look as if they could block a lot of non-US orders.
I've un-checked these.
I am getting a lot of US orders and some (but not many) non-US
orders. I'd appreciate it if those who were blocked would please
try again. If we're still having problems... well, one good thing
about the folks providing the credit card solution is that they
provide good phone support.
My apologies to those of you who were blocked. I'm occasionally
amazed at the number of people who still think all business is
transacted within the confines of the United States!
I got a few copies of Guide 9.0 out in the mail last week. I
now have a bit of a backlog of orders, but hope to get caught up
shortly.
