Hi Rolf,
I just got a call from a gent who ran into similar trouble. It
went to a slightly different location, and he could "go to" 2005
YU55, but it didn't appear on-screen, even with asteroids turned
on.
I _think_ what happened here was that the elements data got slightly
corrupted. Browsers and e-mail clients sometimes remove or add spaces.
(I'm often running into problems where 80-column MPC-formatted astrometry
turns into 81-column badly-formatted astrometry.)
To evade this, try downloading
http://www.projectpluto.com/2005yu55.txt
and loading _that_ as described earlier. (Just heard from the gent
who called in about this, and he says it worked.)
If it fails, please e-mail me the file 'comets.dat'. I'll be curious
to see just what Guide _did_ get from the file.
It looks as if some folks in Europe might, just maybe, be able to
see this object in a few hours. Good hunting!
