Hi Clay,
Just occurred to me... if you would kindly send a test message to
feliks314159@...
I can get the message there, then pass that message along with the
one that was returned to you to my ISP.
So far, you're the only one to mention getting this bounce message...
which doesn't mean much; others may have gotten it, but not thought to
get around it by posting on the Guide user list. (I _am_ still getting
what appears to be a normal volume of e-mail, but it still could be that
10% of e-mails are getting blocked and I'd not necessarily notice.)
Incidentally, returning to the subject you probably addressed in the
bounced e-mails: I did play around a little more with the DST issue.
It seems that if you turn off the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight
saving changes" box, it's completely ignored. This is true both for
GMT and EST, and presumably all zones. I assume there is some time
function that is not affected by this weirdness, or at least a way to
detect that "the box is unchecked, the computer thinks it's DST,
so subtract the hour that the computer is stupidly adding in even though
the box is unchecked". It's pretty darn weird.
