Hi Rolf,
> By chance I came across a some what odd behavior of Guide8.
Actually, you came across _two_ odd behaviors, one right
after the other.
I found an "off by one" bug that caused NGC 7840 not to be
found correctly (it displays it just fine, but you can't "go to"
it and "more info" is corrupted).
The Millennium page error would occur whenever you were on
one side of the 0h/24h "prime meridian" and the cursor went
onto the other side of that line. In such cases, Guide would
attempt to find out which atlas page corresponded to RA=-10m,
say, or RA=24h10m. It didn't wrap things around to realize
that these are more normally thought of as RA=23h50m and RA=10m,
respectively. So it produced garbage answers. (If you use
Extras... Toggle User-Added Datasets, and turn "Millennium
Atlas Pages" on, you'll see the correct atlas layout.)
Both bugs will be fixed the next time I post an update.
