[guide-user] com port won't open

Did you check the COM port settings in

My Computer -> Control Panel -> Ports

???? Don't forget the "Advanced" sheet too -- are all settings
OK there? Are both COM1 and COM2 present there?


Is there some other application running on your computer which
somehow grabs the COM ports so they are busy?
