If you look in the readme he gives some references, but whether that actually solves things I don't know, because I think the two GCL objects are reference-less.

Yes, there's another, GCL 004, which is supposedly 0.1' across and V 9.7 ...

The positions quoted for both are epoch 1950 and rounded down to decimals of an arcminute in declination, so even when precessed by Guide to 1950, don't really have much accuracy.

I'm almost tempted to think that the above author has taken over two galaxy clusters instead of globular clusters for gcl from wherever he got them...

Except gcl004 looks to be in empty sky, well, except there are some faintish galaxies near the nearby bright NGC object.

In Guide it appears only in globular.nam as far as I can tell.
