missing moon(s) of Saturn

Bernd Brinkmann May 16, 2011

Hello Bill,

is it possible, that not all (even long [since 1966 and 1980]) known moons of
Saturn are displayed in Guide? In a german planet mailing list there was a
discussion if "Epimetheus", S 11 could be observerd visually with a 17"
telescope. Looking in Guide I wrote that there isn't a moon called "Epimetheus"
only "Prometheus", but I was told better now.

The list of "Find planets and moons" only give S1 - S9 and S15 - S 30. What's
with S10 - S14?

I'm using the version from 11 Apr. 2011.

Clear skies
Bernd

PS: I just found some other discrepancies. The info box of (S35) Daphnis gives a
magnitude of 109.7! It is not listed in the "Find planets and moons" window but
is displayed. And going to the upper numbered saturnian moons (S19) to (S30)
(shown in "Find planets and moons") displays nothing, even when "Planets" are set
to "on", which should show all regardless the magnitude.
