I'm constantly running across news items about objects to take a look at sometime (sometimes not for months tho). I'd like to be able to enter them into some program that can access a database to fill in basic info (ra, dec, mag, etc) and translate whatever catalog reference I have (it would be nice to get an SAO number for the Celestron handcontrol too). I'd like to be able to give it a drop dead date, no point in trying to catch a Venus transit on June 7th 2012. Skytools looked to have a nice planner, but is there something that can supply info to Guide so I can utilize it as the prime telescope controller?
