I haven't forgotten about this, I also purchased a discontinued C11 later the same day, and have been a bit overwhelmed. I read the links you provided, and dug out the SkyGlobe manual, and thought about sending you upstairs in a barn too :-)

So in the next few days when I settle down (telescope arrives tomorrow, naturally in a snowstorm with snow predicted out the next 7 days, ye olde curse), I'll send the money for a current copy of Guide and the old CDs. Even an old copy of Guide will be far better than SkyGlobe on the 200LX, and currently, better than anything I can get on my Android smartphone.
