Actually, SkyTools can use a connected telescope to define the
horizon. I've just purchased this software for observation planning,
and there's a feature there were you can move the telescope along the
horizon, and the program will sample the route, so to speak. Have yet
to try this, but it sure sounds nifty. Something to consider, I'd say.
