I second your request for focus buttons from Guide. I have found a way
around this by using an old version of Earth Centered Universe to do the
focusing. Crude but it works. The other option is to use the hand paddle
next to the computer but this means running a long (50 feet in my case)
cable for the paddle. Problem here is that I need the hand paddle at the
telescope to do the initialization. I do not like to unplug the paddle to
take it inside while there is power to the LX-200 even though my paddle has
protection for "Hot plugging" as was discussed in the MAPUG list a year or
more ago.
