For this, the Sky Commander button is the one to use. (The others wouldn't
be compatible at all.)

And you tried that button, and it _ought_ to work, but... I'll take a
guess that there is a baud rate problem. Some Sky Commanders work at 2400
baud (the default in Guide), others at 9600. For a long time, I've
thought it was safe just to use 2400 (i.e., some Sky Commanders would accept
a higher baud rate, but they'd all do just fine with the lower rate). I've
heard of at least one case, though, where the baud rate _had_ to be at
9600 for the thing to work.

Basically, you have to edit the file 'startup.mar' with a text editor,
and change a value at line 49 (from 2400 to 9600).

That oughta do it. If not, please let me know.
