For some reason, I've been asked about hooking up cables from
the Celestron Advanced AstroMaster to a PC several times now...

Incidentally, you asked earlier about the duplication of stars
between GSC and A2.0. Right now, there is indeed no way around this.
You have a point, though; a switch to shut off the GSC "as needed"
would, in some cases such as this, be helpful.

James, thanks for the correction about the "no DST in Western
Australia". This makes the second time I've messed up an
Australian time zone: some years back, I got a comment from a
gent in South Australia regarding the half-hour time zone difference
afflicting that part of the world, which (back then) Guide didn't
handle properly.
