Hmmm... so real-time animation alone works; the scope location
indicator works; turn 'em both on, and you get a crash?

Could you please send me the 'startup.mar' file from your Guide
folder? I've not been able to replicate the bug, probably
because I'm doing something just sufficiently different from
what you're doing.

I doubt it's related to Win7 vs. other forks of Windows. There
have been a few issues related to the newer flavors (most notably,
the Setup program needing to be rewritten). But usually, when bugs
crop up, I haven't been able to blame them on Microsoft.
