Star names at level 7 and below

P. Clay Sherrod Jul 24, 2010

Hello Bill....
Playing around with Guide today and I found that the star name will appear at Level 7 and
below; all of my CCD and guiding stuff keeps Guide at Level 9-11 and I never drop down
that low, so this was something that I originally missed when trying to find out what
happened to the star names.

Is there something in place now that eliminates the star name at fields above Level 7?

Actually I think that this is good news and perhaps other users might try booting up to
Level 9-10 and see if their star names are intact.
Hopefully this will help you determine what may have happened.

As it is, knowing that the star can be correctly ID'd if I drop down to Level 7 makes this
workable....but there is still something different from previous Guide updates.

Thanks...

Dr. Clay
