Hi Konstantin,

Hmmm... you should be able to right-click on the corner of an image,
and see a 'delete' button in the resulting dialog. Does that work?
(You're right that hitting Shift-F8 and entering "del" no longer
works. I thought that with the 'delete' button, the Shift-F8 one
wouldn't be needed any longer.)
