Well, this already exists, kind of, almost, well, not really, but it does, sorta.

I can't find it mentioned anywere, but I've got an OVERLAY file that shows showers, shows the radiant path with tick marks, with dates marked on them, and a label, all in yellow for some reason.

I've no idea where it came from. Checking the file properties it says it was created in September 2003 (which likely means when I downloaded and probably unzipped it), but it also says it was last modified in April 2000...

Overlays are on the menu, you can toggle them on and off, and you can even edit it, somehow... It'll be in the manual somewhere.

A mere decade ago.

I'll put an attachment of a zip of it and bcc you. Just unzip into Guide directory and launch Guide. It gives you an editable core if you don't fully like it. There's probably no other way Guide can do it for this, although I suppose something could be cobbled together for the showers with well known orbital parameters, but I'm still not sure how that'd work, it'd be like trying to make an opposition date display only for asteroids. Who knows though?
