Re: [guide-user] DSS images

Thanks Bill! Changing the 0 to a 1 worked great. Now does that mean I can download another 1000 without problems, or another 9000?

Also, if I go and delete some of the older images that I no longer need, does Guide know to go back and reuse that file name?

Thanks again!

Hi Scott,

<Groan> There are _two_ bugs here, not just one.

Bug 1: image 0999 is followed by image 0000; that first digit
doesn't get used. To evade this until I post a fix, edit the file
'ifile' in the Guide folder. Change the first digit from 0 to 1.
Suddenly, all will be well again.

This was an easy fix. I'm not posting it only because I'm still
trying to track down a couple of other buglets reported recently.

Bug 2: if the image already exists, Guide doesn't replace it.
Nobody would notice this unless they went past a thousand images
without cleaning them from the hard drive. And with the fix to
bug 1, they won't notice it for 10000 images... still, I'll try
to fix this one as well.
