Hi...
My name is Mario Lessard and I live in Quebec,Canada. I'm a french canadian
so forgive me for my bad english. I use Guide since 3 years from now and
specially for variable star work (I'm an AAVSO member). I enjoy that cool
list. Now I have a question (or a small problem). Like everybody knows,
the Decenber full moon will be a bit bigger than usual. Yesterday, someone
asked me how much big that moon will be relative to the November one. I
knew that it should be pretty small in difference but to compare the size of
the last month's full moon (Nov. 23th 02:04 EST) with the December one (22th
12:31 EST), I went to Guide 7.0, centered the moon for each event (at the
same dates as above) , and clicked for "more info" at each time to check for
the distance and the size the moon. And here's what I had :
November, size of the moon : 33,84 arcmin., dist. from host planet : 352,985
km
December, size of the moon : 33,25 arcmin., dist.from host planet : 359,312
km...
...hence the title of my post...is there something wrong ??? could someone
explain ??
Sincerly...
