Re: [guide-user] "Startup" dot "mar" file empty ???

Hi Larry and I,

Nice to see that I am not alone!
The story you tell happens to me at least once on twenty or thirty times I run Guide. I have never understood how this happens, and I do exactely as you: I replace my empty startup.mar file by the back up one.
And it works perfectly in second.

Subject: [guide-user] "Startup" dot "mar" file empty ???

When I tried to start up Guide today it said it wanted the CD disc to start. Still
no response. I checked in the Guide directory and found the startup.mar was an
empty file.
I am sure it wasn't cleaned out by me, or my wife.

Any body else experience this ???

Weird!!!

I replaced the file with the backup startup.mar and it works OK.
