Bill here's a trick I use which acts as an insurance policy against the
above. A long time ago I made a "Check-Point" Mark of a common object. All
my present Settings were preserved as part of that Mark.

Then, whenever I screw something up, all I have to do is to load that Mark
to easily return everything back the way I want with a couple clicks. I
update this Mark if my tastes change. I've found this trick a real life
saver several times and hope others will too...joe :)
