This message to emphasize on a strong point of Guide: the ability to download, at a given scale, several types of DSS images.

Unfortunately, all these ones are in more or less poor quality, in black and white, unless a very complicate process, and a sucess far from being sure. Moreover, the DSS images of Guide are in a very smal scale around the target.

However, Wikisky's folks supply, after asking authorization, detailed, colored, and impressive images from DSS and/or SDSS.

Would it be possible to give Guide the ability of downloading them, or (one can allways dreams..) supply a new DVD of a lot of these images, including SDSS galaxies, all the ESO Strasbourg PN catalogue, and large scale images of diffuse nebulae as Sh2, RCW, Cederblad, dark nebulae as Barnard, LDN...

This DVD would be a step in the "waiting of the so waited" Guide 9 !
