I guess XZ80Q is an old (disfavored?) dataset? THE problem was naively downloading dat catalog from vizier when it was not found at iota (before reading every post here back to 2004, yawn).** Reference previous msg(s), I was able to locate, energize & recrystalize the hdd from the n/a w2k, locate the dat file there, compare it with the snafu'd dat (source vizier) on the newish hdd and not the same dat file. maneuvered the old (good) dat file to the new hdd and I see XZ80Q stars. Not obvious that the vizier catalog would be the culprit!

** iota_Q could be at a "new" ftp iota link but password is needed. (beware sharing that star data with the nonpasswordized public) | curious you don't need a password to download occult4, but you do to download a star catalog, or a long day's journey into night... but I'm digressing into a rant (sorry) intended for the occult4 yahoo group.
I like Guide, I'm sure I'll purchase Guide 9 (ref newish posts), would prefer this group was non_yahoo site.
