I know that from time to time we have seen how to edit files such as guide.dat
and start.mar in order to tell Guide about available directories etc. I cannot
find a definitive list of all these edits. I am currently unable to display the
images such as M1 (etc) despite having them all available on the HD. I did a
directories copy so I believe that everything is there - I just don't know!

Similarly, looking through all the entries in these files, there are many that
have no meaning to me, so I don't know whether they are appropriate or not.

Can anyone point me to a specific web page where all these edits are listed?
