Re: [guide-user] Guide-8 64-bit?

I would try this method. Select the intall EXE (DVD or updated install
exe from Project Pluto), right click to "install.exe" properties and
select to install compatible with XP service pack 2. Install Guide out
of the Program Files directory, ("c:/Guide8" is best). In program
directory, it requires admin permission to be able to modify the content
files which is a factor needed in Guide. It should install as per
normal. Ignore the compatibility warnings from the system during the
install.

After install, right click on the Guide8 icon and select properties, tab
to "Compatibility" and check the "Disable Themes". Guide should start
just fine.
