Hi All,
Thanks Bill for your advise about visual magnitudes.
I didn't visit the updatesite untill last weekend and what a found
whas really great!!!! e.g. the fixed magnitude limit for astroids is
really usefull.
The new CCD options are very usefull as well: only have to change the
focal length when I use a different lens. what struck me was after
typing in a fl of 2620 mm it changed to 2919.99996 (or something). This
is no problem i presume.
Most of the time this doesn't happen anyway.
Futher i have two more sugestions for guide 8:
first I would like the possiblity to fix the rotation of the CCD field
to
the orientation of the map. This would make it easier to compare the
guide map and a picture in a different window.
What I would like too, is a possibilty to print visual magnitudes in a
certain
range, e.g. between mag 13 and mag 16. When estimating the brightness
of an astroid (or checking fotographic limits), values for brigther
stars are just
a pain.
clear skies,
Jan
