Something odd here...

For B 347, I can use Go To... Star... Double Star; click
on the "B Bos, W. H. van den" line; enter 347; and it
centers on the double in question. Similarly, for I 34,
I can click on "I Innes, R.T.A", and enter 34.

In theory, I should have been able to use Go To...
Object Name and enter "B 347" or "I 34" and go to the correct
object. It turns out that I made a blunder here, in which
I assumed three-letter double-star discoverer IDs. So
(for example) STF 2398 works. But for the examples you give,
it works only if you use _two_ spaces between the letter and
number ("B 347", for example). I've fixed this in the
"in-testing" update.

LDS (the Luyten Double Star catalog) doesn't work, because
it wasn't referenced in WDS a while back. I've fixed this;
if you go to http://www.projectpluto.com/extras.htm#WDS
and download the 'wds_new.zip' file provided therein,
you can extract 'double.nam' from it. You can then use
Go To... Object Name, enter "LDS 411", and Guide will
center on the double star.

It shouldn't really be necessary to use Go To... TDF
Object. Though as John describes, you can _make_ it work
that way, too.
