I have been trying for some time with a little, very little, success to use this feature while imaging NEOs to figure out the time interval between exposures. I have read the manual about setting up a trail for Mars but the logic there seems to slip past me on much shorter time frames.

If anyone could lend me a hand understanding shorter time scales with this feature I sure would be most appreciative.
