Sorry for the late reply!

This does seem like a good idea. I've got things working so that,
when asked for the limiting magnitude for a table of asteroids or
comets, one can enter (for example) '13' to get a list of _all_
objects to that magnitude anywhere in the sky, or '13*' to get
only those currently on-screen. That is, the 'make list of comets'
or 'asteroids' functions work exactly as they always have, except
that one can add an asterisk to cause output to be limited to on-screen
objects only.

I can't post this right away, because I'm making some other changes
(in part to accommodate UCAC-3), but when I _do_ post an update,
this feature will be included. (I may revise it a bit so that it's
less obscure... perhaps an "on-screen only" check-box in the dialog!)
