I assume you're running with B1.0 data from the hard drive,
as described at

The simplest way is probably just to right-click on a B1.0
star, then on "Display". You can then turn the B1.0 stars on,
or off, or to a fixed or varying magnitude; and/or you can
change the fields of view at which they are shown.

Actually, this will work if the B1.0 stars are drawn from
the hard drive, or from Internet downloads. (A good thing to
remember in general: if you see something on a chart in Guide,
and want to turn it on/off/change color/change labelling, or
just want to know what it is, then right-click on that object,
then on "Display". If Guide had one of those "tip of the day"
features, I'd put this high on the list of Helpful Tips.)

The problem then arises: suppose you want to turn the B1.0
stars back on? Go to Extras... Toggle User Datasets, look for
"USNO B1.0 from hard drive" dataset, and turn it on.
