Hi Folks !

Boah, quite an excitement about that observer log !
As I'm a deep sky observer who observes lots of galaxies (mostly
PGC and UGC stuff, a few hundreds last year), I of course pretty
much like the idea of an observer log in Guide. Best would be to
have a different colour for those objects, which I have observed.
This would make it easier to prepare the next observing session.

As Guide is a charting software, I don't think, a log-book feature is
too off-topic.

Anyway, in the meantime I use the TDF system quite much,
because in principle it allows everything I want (for example: I can
change the positions of objects whenever those in the catalogs are
wrong).

But there's one drawback, especially if one wants to run current
versions of Guide: it's work, to keep track of all the files one has
added to the Guide directory.
What I'd really like to see is the possibility, to place .mar and .tdf
files in subdirectories !

This would be interesting for another reason:
From time to time our club uses Guide in public presentations
(sunday was the latest one) and of course we use the slide show
feature (which helps _very_ much!).
For this slide shows it would be conveniant to have the shows in
seperated subdirectories.
