Netbooks do not have a CD drive in general. Here and now I have a laptop
with Guide installed as well as a CD drive. The netbook is planned to go
along to Australia in August and I would like to rely on that only as sky
map.
The CD does not copy completely to USB, a file which I do not remember
exactly is specified as not a valid DOS file and XP does not copy it and
stops copying the rest.
I might consider using an installation to USB, but would prefer an
installation to the hard drive of the Netbook, which is spacious enough.
USB-sticks have a tendency to get lost or hide, in particular on a dark
field at night.
